Sponsorship for Underprivileged Children

Al-Khair Foundation Bangladesh believes that children are the future of the nation.

Therefore, Orphan Sponsorship Program is launched to improve the quality of life of underprivileged children.

So that their beautiful future is assured. Under the program, 311 underprivileged children are ensured education and all aspects of growing up.

Hifz Sponsorship Program

Al Khayer Foundation is running a separate program for Hafez children of Bangladesh.

The organization always takes various initiatives to ensure the facilities and fundamental rights of orphans. 407 Hafez children have been given various types of assistance including foodstuff, educational materials, financial support.

This program of Al-Khair Foundation is ongoing in Dhaka, Rajnagar, Kamalganj, Kulaura, Shaistaganj, Habiganj Sadar, Nandail, Rangunia, Sylhet Sadar, Goainghat, Belaganj, Feni Sadar, Rajbari Sadar, Cox's Bazar, Patuakhali Sadar, Tahirpur, Betagi, Shibganj and Tala. 

In 2023, Al Khayer Foundation supports 300 Hafez children. Activities were conducted at district and upazila levels like Dhaka, Rajnagar, Kamalganj, Kulaura, Shaistaganj, Habiganj Sadar, Nandail, Rangunia, Sylhet Sadar, Goainghat, Belaganj, Feni Sadar, Rajbari Sadar, Cox's Bazar, Patuakhali Sadar, Tahirpur, Betagi, Shibganj and Baufal. 

Housing Project for the Homeless

At the end of the day, every person worries about family members seeking safe haven. Al-Khair Foundation is working with the help of donors to make this wish of the underprivileged people a reality.

Al-Khair Foundation Bangladesh is working to build housing for the poor and marginalized people and their families scattered in different parts of the country.

Meanwhile, it has been possible to build houses for more than five hundred poor and helpless families across the country. This initiative is ongoing.

Mosque Construction Project

Construction of the mosque is one of the most important initiatives of the Al Khayer Foundation.

Mosque is a place of refuge for Muslims. Even though the majority of people in the country are Muslims, they still face discrimination in enjoying religious facilities. Every year, Al Khayer Foundation undertakes a project to build mosques so that religious people can have their right to religious practice.

Al-Khair Foundation Bangladesh has built 35 mosques in 2022 and 2023 alone. In 2022, a total of 22 mosques were constructed by the Foundation in Mymensingh, Cox's Bazar, Barisal, Sylhet, Sunamganj, Moulvibazar, Habiganj, Thankurgaon, Tangail, Chittagong and Gaibandha andIn 2023, 13 mosques were built in Sylhet, Cox's Bazar, Barisal, Madaripur and Comilla with the foundation's investment.

Rehabilitation and Training of Blind Hafiz

Al Khayer Foundation has started a program to assist blind Hafez (50 people).

They are provided with educational materials, cooperation, financial incentives, food.Our new program started in 2023 with the help of blind Hafez children of Dhaka and Cox's Bazar.

There is a willingness to expand the scope of this cooperation program in the future.

Installation of tubewells and deep tubewells

Al Khayer Foundation is working tirelessly to provide safe water across the country.

From 2021 to 2023, the organization has worked on raising awareness about safe water at different times in Kushtia, Lalmonirhat, Rajbari, Magura, Cox's Bazar, Khulna, Gopalganj, Kishoreganj. 27 hand pumps, 19 deep tube wells and 324 tube wells, installed in 2022.

Cataract operation

Many people in Bangladesh need glasses or other medical care due to eye problems.

The number of visually impaired women and children in the country is about 40,000. About 12,000 of them have cataracts.

Cataract surgery is very expensive and many people in remote and rural areas do not receive treatment. As a result, they have to live with this physical handicap for life.

Al Khayer Foundation is working at the remote and rural level with the great vow to restore the light of the eyes of these needy people. For this reason, the organization conducts free ophthalmology camps and cataract surgery programs in different parts of the country.

12,243 needy people in different districts of the country including Dhaka, Mymensingh, Patuakhali, Moulvibazar have successfully completed cataract surgery. (in which year)
