To provide healthcare to underprivileged people, Al-Khair Foundation has been implementing health service programs. Through its medical camps and eye camps, the foundation offers free medical services, cataract surgeries, essential medicines, and eyeglasses to impoverished individuals.

• Cataract Surgeries: In Bangladesh, many people face eye problems that require glasses or other treatments. According to a BBC report, around 950,000 people in Bangladesh are visually impaired, while approximately 7.5 million suffer from moderate to severe eye problems. Many visually impaired individuals face various challenges, one of which is cataracts. Due to the high cost of cataract surgeries, low-income people in rural areas are often forced to accept blindness without treatment. With a mission to restore vision to underprivileged individuals, Al-Khair Foundation has been working in rural areas, offering free eye treatment and cataract surgeries. By organizing eye camps across districts like Dhaka, Mymensingh, Patuakhali, and Moulvibazar, the foundation has provided free eye care services, medicines, glasses, and cataract surgeries to 12,243 individuals.
• Medical Camps: Religious gatherings or sermons in Bangladesh attract a large number of people. Al-Khair Foundation utilizes these events to set up medical camps, offering health checkups to rural attendees and providing meals simultaneously. Over the past three years, these camps have served nearly 1,000 people with free healthcare and medicines and provided one-time meals to 30,000 individuals.
• One Pound General Hospital: Located just 4 kilometers from the Dhaka-Sylhet Highway in Bishwanath Upazila of Sylhet, the construction of the One Pound General Hospital has begun. The five-story hospital project commenced in 2023, and it is expected to become operational by mid-2025. Once inaugurated, it will provide accessible healthcare services to residents of Sylhet, Moulvibazar, and Sunamganj.
