Cataract operation
Many people in Bangladesh need glasses or other medical care due to eye problems.
The number of visually impaired women and children in the country is about 40,000. About 12,000 of them have cataracts.
Cataract surgery is very expensive and many people in remote and rural areas do not receive treatment. As a result, they have to live with this physical handicap for life.
Al Khayer Foundation is working at the remote and rural level with the great vow to restore the light of the eyes of these needy people. For this reason, the organization conducts free ophthalmology camps and cataract surgery programs in different parts of the country.
